Pregnancy & Postpartum
Pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period come with a wide range of emotions and transitions that can be difficult to manage. Therapy for pregnant and postpartum moms, non-birthing parents, and couples at New Town Wellness is designed to help new and expecting parents navigate emotional challenges such as pregnancy-related anxiety, postpartum depression, and overwhelming feelings after childbirth. Together, we’ll explore your thoughts, emotions, and stressors to develop coping strategies that support your mental well-being to feel like your authentic self again.

Couples
Couples therapy at New Town Wellness uses Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) approaches to help strength communication and bonds to repair and break negative cycles and patterns couples can get into. We will work together to build productive communication and understanding of each other in order to shift into more positive cycles.
Becoming parents can put a strain on relationships, but couples therapy for new parents is designed to help partners communicate more effectively, address feelings of stress or isolation, manage role transitions, and strengthen their connection during the transition to parenthood.

Anxiety & Depression
Therapy is a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can show up as their authentic selves and work together with their therapist as a collaborative team. I follow client’s leads and meet them where they are at in order to help clients process through disruptive thought patterns and uncomfortable emotions related to life transitions, relationship distress, anxiety, depression & past experiences in order to achieve the life they desire.
